Personal Brand Logo
This is a personal logo I designed to represent my retro-inspired and nostalgic online identity. It serves as a visual symbol for my content across multiple social media platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. My main goal with this project was to create a logo that instantly communicates the nostalgic tone and creative style of my work while still feeling personal and recognizable. The design incorporates colors, shapes, and textures that evoke vintage aesthetics, reflecting my appreciation for past eras of media and culture. Overall, the logo captures both my personality and the nostalgic themes that define my digital presence.
This project was a UGC TikTok campaign I participated in for the Hunch dating app through the creative agency Playkit. My role involved developing and filming authentic, relatable content that reflected real dating experiences and showcased the app’s unique approach to matchmaking. The goal of the campaign was to connect with audiences through humor and honesty while encouraging users to explore the app for their own dating experiences. I focused on creating a natural, conversational tone that aligned with the brand’s voice and resonated with TikTok’s audience. The final content helped humanize the brand and drive meaningful user engagement.
Reed's Farm: Always Growing
This branded content project was created for Reeds Farm, a sustainable local farm located in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The campaign was designed to highlight the farm’s deep commitment to community engagement, locally grown produce, and environmentally conscious agricultural practices. My role involved developing visual storytelling that captured the authenticity and warmth of the farm’s atmosphere through filming and video editing. Through a combination of video footage, photography, and staff interviews, the project showcased the people behind the farm, their dedication to ethical farming, and the positive impact Reed's Farm continues to make within the local community.

This TikTok video series, created for my account @alannagrace.nostalgia, explores popular websites from the early 2000s, including Starbucks and Hot Topic, showing what they looked like in 2007. Each video highlights how these sites reflected the design trends and technological limitations of the time, from simple layouts and basic navigation to minimal interactivity compared to today’s standards. The series dives into the unique aesthetics and typography that defined early web design. My goal with this project was to provide a nostalgic look at the internet’s evolution, illustrating how far web technology has advanced while celebrating the creativity of that era.
Toys "R" Us History Video
One of my very first video projects that explores the full history and evolution of Toys “R” Us, tracing its journey from a beloved childhood favorite to its bankruptcy in 2018. The video examines the company’s rise as a dominant toy retailer, including key milestones and cultural impact over several decades. It also analyzes the financial, operational, and market challenges that contributed to its decline, including competition from online retailers and shifts in consumer behavior. Through archival footage, images, and narrative storytelling, the essay provides a comprehensive look at how the company shaped generations of childhood experiences while facing the realities of an evolving retail landscape.
If Instagram Existed in the 80s Project
This graphic concept, created on Figma, reimagines the Instagram logo as if it had been designed in the 1980s. The project explores retro aesthetics through the use of vintage typography and light animations. By combining nostalgic design elements with modern animation techniques, the concept emphasizes how a contemporary brand might have been interpreted in a past visual era. The project also reflects my interest in mixing digital design with historical inspiration, creating a playful and visually engaging piece that highlights both the evolution of branding and the stylistic trends of the 1980s
